Why We Are Opposed

Our campaign is focused on the fundamental negative impacts of this proposal:

• Traffic & Access: Increased congestion and unsuitable access via narrow residential streets like Monmouth Street.

• Conservation Area: Damage to the character of a designated conservation area.

• Environment & Wildlife: Irreversible impact on local ecology and the nearby Exe Estuary.

• Flooding: Serious implications for drainage and flood risk in the area.

• Community Capacity: Overwhelming pressure on local GP capacity and schools.

How to Make Your Voice Heard

The aim of sending emails to the developer is to demonstrate the strength of community opposition.

• Email the Developer: Send your opposition to Salter Property at topsham@salterproperty.co.uk.

• Keep it Simple: Your email does not need detailed technical objections at this stage—focus on your fundamental concerns.
